Girf OÜ was founded in 2000. Girf OÜ operates in following areas

Main field of activity is head contracting to medium-sized Estonian companies, local branches of international companies and governmental institutions. Key competence is in ability to plan, analyse, design, implement and support of complex IT solutions. 

 

Girf is a founding member of the ELIKO Competence Centre (http://www.eliko.ee), which is an independent state supported research organization, funded by Enterprise Estonia. ELIKO team and its partners have 10+ years practical experiences in development of complex embedded hardware and software systems to be supported by academic advisors from Estonia, Finland, Germany, Italy, Japan, Sweden. The centre has an access to the top edge electronic measurement equipment and modern rapid prototyping tools. Eliko has an important role to play in enabling partners to maximize proficiency and shorten development time by applying best practices and new technological approaches. The usual outcome of ELIKO's activities is “proof of concept” simplifying further steps of participating companies for product development.
